The Fourth annual young Womynz Empowerment Conference was a huge success in 2005. The conference was held on April 29 - May 1, 2005 at Camp Witcomb Mason in Hartland, WI . Among our fabulous programming for the conference this year we included extensive transgender programming. Other programming included Feminism 101, Bisexuality stigma, Environmentalism, Healthy Relationships, Bon Fires, Drag Workshop, and an unforgettable performance by the Miltown Kings. Project Q is honored to work with such an amazing group of womyn (65 to be exact) ranging from 14 to 58 years in age. Project Q is working hard to build a strong network of young womyn in the Milwaukee area.
